It's Election time here and everywhere I see lots of propoganda going on what with each Party offering heaven and earth free of cost. People listen mutely wondering what happened to their promises during the last election. Two of the principal contesting parties have amassed huge wealth by using all means at their command including government machinery and the power they wield as rulers. No one dares question them. What is needed is a benevolent form of dictatorship not unlike in China and Singapore. It's a great wonder that our country has come to the present position despite these politicians. Hats off to the common citizen for having endured hardships but striving for better tomorrow!

first attempt

Hi Folks

This is my first attempt in creating a blogspot. I am from a small town in south india. Last few days it's been raining heavily in our town which is welcome by us townfolks since there has been scarce rainfall in our region during the last 5 years and there is scarcity even for drinking water in our town. Water scarcity could have been due to drought conditions triggered due to pollution caused by automobiles, industries, over-exploitation of ground water, etc. Hope conditions would improve now.
